Support Zoe in her climb to Mount Kilimanjaro!

We are happy to be supporting Plymouth University Student Zoe Pike by sponsoring  her  quest for fundraising to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in September, the highest mountain in Africa.

All in aid of Meningitis who work endlessly to fight against the unfortunate and often devastating effects of meningitis and septicemia. MRF help to protect and support those who have been affect with the disease or who are more likely at risk from the condition.

Those who are most at risk and fall vulnerable to meningitis and septicemia are actually babies, young children and students which emphasises the importance of this charity and it’s work. Many individuals have died due to the severe affects this disease can cause and others who are lucky enough to survive, can often be left with long term disabilities or conditions. The Meningitis Research Foundation work so hard to try and give their upmost help and support to all of those, young and old, in the fight against meningitis and septicemia!

We wish you the best of luck Zoe in your fantastic Challenge.

Zoe says :  I am probably engaging in my biggest challenge yet, both physically and mentally. As in September 2016, I intend to push myself to my limits and climb Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa, in aid of Meningitis Research Foundation. This organisation is battling around the clock in order to fund and support new research in hope that one day they may find a cure for Meningitis.

If you could take the time and would like to help Zoe on this quest, please donate to her fundraising page https://plymouth-rag.everydayhero.com/uk/zoe-pike
