Dorset, February 25, 2014: C&D South West Limited, a founder shareholder member of PalletForce, has announced that it has opened up a new office, logistics and storage depot location in Dorset, as part of its network development strategy.
Expanding its logistics and pallet delivery service in the South of England and being closer to central London and many sea ports means businesses can now expect higher levels of growth for all local, national and international distribution of goods.
Managing director Darren Hammond says: “The new C&D South West depot in Dorset will offer our customers management of the complete pallet delivery and logistics process, collecting, storing and distributing goods and materials anywhere in the world, allowing them to concentrate on their core business.”
The 25000 sq mt storage and distribution facility operates in tandem with the UK and international pallet delivery service already on offer at their Somerset depot and throughout the PalletForce network, ensuring a complete and reliable outsourced solution for all supply chain requirements.
“We’ve also created 10 new jobs for the area and continue to expand our fleet of trucks. But now with our Dorset depot we are even better placed to serve new and existing customers” continues Darren.
With the recent launch of a guaranteed customer service charter by C&D South West; the continued development of customer services and the use of the latest technology, C&D South West is becoming one of the most reliable and fastest growing logistics and pallet delivery companies throughout the South of England.
Colin Jones, Logistics manager commented, “We are able to move high value and time sensitive shipments within 24 and 48 hours from nearly any location throughout Europe and beyond. We operate day and night and can customise our services to suit our client’s needs, handle last minute orders, collect and delivery 10KG boxes to very large pallets. So as C&D South West celebrates its 27th birthday, it’s great to know that our Dorset depot and its dedicated 24/7 staff and resources will ensure that each client shipments continue to move for the next 27 years.”
Since the Dorset logistics depot opening in February 2014, C&D South West has further focus on growing and expanding its services, and this latest move is in line with its aim of becoming the national provider of choice for logistics and supply chain management services.
In recognition of the cost savings and service excellence delivered by the C&D South West Customer Service Charter many industries in the South West can grow no matter where their delivery or pickup requirements are throughout UK and Europe.
