The Omicron variant is still causing a threat to us all in the UK and with social mixing over Christmas and the New Year, as a nation we have seen another spike in reported cases across the country.
Although many cases are still being reported as mild, the concern is still the risk of spread for the new variant – we must continue to keep one another safe and be sensible, particularly as we go through the colder winter months.
The Government is monitoring the new variant closely and continues to put measures in place to keep the nation safe and minimise the risk of the new variant. More information on the latest Government Guidance can be seen below or by clicking here.
We continue to remind all staff of our existing COVID-19 policies that have been in place since March 2020 to ensure the safety of our staff and the wider public.
We are closely monitoring the Government advice and any further changes if required going forward, will be communicated out as promptly as possible.
