If you are forecasting any particular uplift in volumes during the festive period, please do contact us so we can support and plan your requirements accordingly with the operation.
Christmas Opening & Delivery Manifesting
Tuesday 23rd December 2025 will be the last full day of operations, and the final full day of standard collections and deliveries before the new year.
There will be an AM delivery service ONLY on the 24th and 31st December, and a limited delivery service on the 29th and 30th December, subject to confirmation. Any deliveries to be made on these dates must be pre-arranged and collected on or before Tuesday 23rd December 2025.
- All deliveries MUST be manifested before 17:00 on the 23rd December and must be manifested as A service (24 hours), for deliveries on 24th December only.
- TA, AM, BW, BI and TB Surcharges will be available only on request.
- The required delivery day during this period must be clearly stated in the top line of the manifest notes on Alliance. If there is no specification, the consignment will be delivered on Friday 2nd January 2026.
- No Amazon deliveries.
- No Economy service available – all consignments must be manifested as an A service.
- No collection service available
- No reverse collections.
Freight for delivery on Christmas Eve, Wednesday 24th December 2025, must state ‘CHRISTMAS EVE DELIVERY’ clearly in the manifest notes, and be manifested with an AM surcharge.
Please check that your customer will be open to accept deliveries between 29th and 31st December if you are sending goods to be delivered during this time. If your customer is closed, a re-delivery fee will apply and the consignment will be re-delivered on the 2nd of January.
There will be no collection service between 24th December and 1st January, and no Saturday services available on the 27th December 2025. Standard collection and delivery service will resume on Friday 2nd January 2026, except in Scotland due to the Scottish Bank Holiday.
This is the operational plan for our network, however if you do have an URGENT consignment that requires a special delivery between Christmas & New Year, we will be running limited staff and may be able to assist on a direct basis, however this is not guaranteed and will depend on availability.
Deliveries to Europe, Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, and other offshore destinations
Please discuss requirements directly with our customer service team who will liaise directly with each of our gateway partners. We will look to publish the full offshore departure schedule closer to the time.
