For many years, C&D have supported and sponsored local events by providing mobile lorry stages free of charge, including The Somerset County Show, The Chardstock Street Fayre, Love the Lorry,Ilminster ‘Party in The Park’ and most recently the Platinum Jubilee Celebrations in Chard.
The recent Platinum Jubilee was a special event for the nation as Her Majesty The Queen became the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee after 70 years of service.
Many exciting events took place all over the country for the extended bank holiday weekend to celebrate this special milestone, C&D supported one of the many events that took place in Chard by providing a mobile lorry stage for a local concert that took place in the evening of the 4th June 2022.
The concert saw local talent taking to the stage, providing entertainment for the community on such a special occasion.

“It’s with great pleasure to support the local community events and providing the use of our vehicles as mobile stages, they work really well and provide enjoyment to many members of the local area. Giving back to the area we operate is extremely important to us and it is always fantastic to see the vehicles being used in this way.”
