Dear Customer,
Since 1st January 2021, there have been significant changes for goods moving between GB and the European Union, including the Republic of Ireland. Our network partners, Palletforce have recently announced the reinstatement of eastern European services. The below information outlines the relaunch into Eastern EU countries.
What does this mean?
• As of 14 March 2022, we will now be able to offer our pallet distribution services again to the following Eastern EU countries:
1. Bulgaria
2. Czech Republic
3. Hungary
4. Latvia
5. Lithuania
6. Poland
7. Romania
8. Slovakia
Please note the following:
• DAP Cleared only incoterm for export, while importing is FCA only.
• ALL shipments need to be compliant and every item needs to be declared accurately.
• You now need to declare additional customs information for ALL goods moving from UK to EU and EU to UK.

• You are responsible for retaining records for six years
What do you need to do prior to exporting/importing?
• Register for a EORI (Economic Operators Registration Identification) number. You will also need to supply your customer’s (Importer) EORI and VAT;
we cannot carry goods going to any non VAT-registered importers.
• Completing a Palletforce Export DRA (Direct Representation Authorisation) & Commercial invoice are mandatory. There will be no DRA required for Country of Destination, however our network partners do request an email address for consignee.
• Agree incoterms with your customers.
• Ask your customer to complete an Import DRA (where applicable).
• Classify your goods (Commodity Codes) – checking they are not on our exemption list.
