As the months have flown by this year, it is somewhat strange to say that it is now September already! I hope you all had an enjoyable extended weekend for what is now the last bank holiday until we reach Christmas!
Last month, we saw the sucessful launch of the Governments “Eat Out To Help Out” Scheme which has been a fantastic boost and support aid from the government to get the economy going again and here at C & D South West we have certainly been happy to support the increased delivery and collection volumes across the catering & hospitality sector.
For many of us the ‘new normal’ is getting somewhat more familar and many of our suppliers & clients are getting back to work and back to the standard volumes of business. We will continue to deliver loads of quality as we have throughout the lockdown period and more so than ever want to provide the best possible service and excellence to our customers.
That being said, we have also seen the rules changing in various parts of the country over the past couple of months. And whilst currently the UK are operating in the ‘new normal’, if you do have any shipments for areas that do have to go into regional lockdowns please do contact us before doing so should you have any concerns and ensure that your consignee is going to be able to accept delivery.
We are monitoring the Government advice daily and any changes if required going forward, will be communicated out as promptly as possible.

We are still ensuring full adherence to the government guidance in the workplace with social distancing in place and PPE in place to ensure our employees are kept safe whilst at work and to ensure we all stay protected from this awful virus that is still in circulation, albeit at a reduced level.
