Christmas Opening & Delivery Manifesting
Monday 23rd December 2024 will be the last full day of operations, and the final full day of standard collections and deliveries before the new year.
There will be a limited delivery service ONLY on the 24th (AM Only), 27th,30th & 31st December, however any deliveries to be made on these dates must be pre-arranged and collected on or before Monday 23rd December 2024.
All deliveries MUST be manifested before 17:00 on the 23rd December and must be manifested as A service (24 hours) only. Surcharges will be available only on request and the required delivery day between Christmas and New Year must be clearly stated in the top line of the manifest notes on Alliance. If there is no specification, the consignment will be delivered on Thursday 2nd January 2025.
Freight for delivery on Christmas Eve Tuesday 24th December 2024 must state “CHRISTMAS EVE DELIVERY” clearly in the manifest notes and manifest with an AM surcharge.
Please check that your customer will be open to accept deliveries if you do choose to send any freight between Christmas & New Year, re-delivery charges will apply if freight is manifested for these dates and the consignee is closed.
There will be no collection service between 24-31st December and no Saturday services available on the 28th December 2024. Standard collection and delivery service will resume on Thursday 2nd January 2025, except in Scotland due to the Scottish Bank Holiday.
This is the operational plan for our network, however if you do have a URGENT consignment that requires a special delivery between Christmas & New Year, we will be running limited staff and may be able to assist on a direct basis, however this is not guaranteed and will depend on availability.
Deliveries to Europe, Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, and other offshore destinations
Please discuss requirements directly with our customer service team who will liase directly with each of our gateway partners. We will look to publish the full offshore departure schedule closer to the time.
