Following the announcement from Boris Johnson at the start of January, we still find ourselves in a National Lockdown to continue limiting the spread of the new, more contagious strain of COVID-19, to keep us all safe and protect the NHS. That being said, since the start of January the UK has seen significant progress with vaccinations which is a positive step in the right direction. As essential service providers, we will continue to operate as we did throughout the previous lockdown. As we have done throughout the pandemic hitting at the start of the year, we are still monitoring the Government advice daily and any changes if required going forward, will be communicated out as promptly as possible.
Our staff are ensuring full adherence to the government guidance in the workplace with social distancing in place and PPE in place to ensure our employees are kept safe whilst at work and to ensure we all stay protected. We also now have rapid testing in place for our employees to reduce the risk of spread across the workforce.
Our service levels at C&D and throughout the Palletforce Network are still operating as normal however If you do have any concerns please contact us and do ensure that your consignee is going to be able to accept the delivery and avoid any unnecessary re-delivery costs.
We have had an update from our partners in Guernsey, Goods can only be delivered to a wholesaler, not to a customer’s home address, business premises and cannot be collected by customers in person.
