Following the announcement from Boris Johnson last week regarding the roadmap, it is great to see a light at the end of the tunnel for normality to return with the 4 step plan to get us out of lockdown. However, as measures are lifted we must keep each other safe and continue limiting the spread of the new, more contagious strain of COVID-19, to keep us all safe and protect the NHS.

That being said, since the start of January the UK has seen significant progress with vaccinations which is a positive step in the right direction. More information on the Government Advice can be seen here.

As essential service providers, we will continue to operate as we did throughout the previous lockdown. As we have done throughout the pandemic hitting at the start of the year, we are still monitoring the Government advice daily and any changes if required going forward, will be communicated out as promptly as possible.

Our staff are ensuring full adherence to the government guidance in the workplace with social distancing in place and PPE in place to ensure our employees are kept safe whilst at work and to ensure we all stay protected. We also have rapid testing in place for our employees to reduce the risk of spread across the workforce and continue to keep our staff safe.

Our service levels at C&D and throughout the Palletforce Network are still operating as normal however If you do have any concerns please contact us and do ensure that your consignee is going to be able to accept the delivery and avoid any unnecessary re-delivery costs.

We are experiencing some delays on the continent and to Ireland as a result of Brexit and Customs clearance procedures, however, if you have any queries on this please give us a call.

We are still very much operating as usual with the appropriate COVID precautions and are here when you need us for your transport requirements. If we can support your distribution needs, please get in touch with us.
