I would like to confirm arrangements following the announcement over the weekend that the state funeral of HM Queen Elizabeth II will take place on Monday 19th September 2022. The day has been declared as an official Bank Holiday.
Here at C&D South West and across our wider Palletforce Network will be closed to enable our teams across the country to show their respect.
Any next day freight manifested on Friday 16th September will be delivered on Tuesday 20th September, with economy freight thereafter. Saturday deliveries will continue as normal on 17th September.
Please be mindful that due to preparations for the event there is likely to be increased disruption to access and road networks in and around Edinburgh, London and Windsor throughout next week, however we will endeavour to advise you of any issues should they arise.
We will continue to communicate any further changes to the above that we are made aware of.
